Training is essential for every COATS user, so COATS offers training in four different methods:

WEBINARS

We understand all employees from the company will not be able to attend Local Training; therefore we have created Online Training classes.  We have One-on-One Training classes and Group Training classes. These are beneficial for new employees hired by the company, new employees to the COATS system, and as refresher courses.

One-On-One Training

  • Offered upon the client/trainer availability
  • Scheduled for a block of time

Group Training

  • Pre-determined class schedules based upon either Employees/Clients/Orders or Payroll/AR or AP/Banks/GL
  • Scheduled at two-hour increments

Free Webinars

  • Pre-determined class scheduled based on the latest updates to the COATSsql system. This one-hour webinar often covers “What’s New.”
  • Scheduled at one-hour increments

VIDEO TRAINING SERIES

The Video Training Series is an excellent investment to train your staff after your purchase or lease of COATS, refresh staff knowledge after they’ve been using COATS and train newly hired staff members.  The Front Office includes Employees, Clients and Orders; the Back Office includes Payroll, AR, AP, Banks and GL.

ON-SITE TRAINING

We understand sometimes clients prefer our trainer to come to their location to train their staff.  This options helps you:

  • Benefit from team-specific conclusions
  • Reduce your bottom-line cost, compared to the expense of shipping team members to hotel seminars one-by-one
  • Save time, since your entire team will be trained and ready to build your business.

Team training or individual one-on-one subject training is available. We will discuss possible dates and send you a quote. Once you approve the quote and sign it, we will book reservations for travel. Payment is due in full for onsite training prior to the dates of training. Please call for availability: 1-800-888-5894.

LOCAL TRAINING DATES

Our three-day training class is designed to show you all aspects of the COATS system. We recommend your company send a representative from your “back office” that will be using the back office functionality of the system (Payroll, AR, AP, GL) as well as a front office representative who would have the ability to review what was learned with other users in the company. Local training is held at our COATS lab in Virginia Beach, VA. Local training for two users is included with the initial COATS purchase.

Basic Training Schedule:

  • Day One covers the Employees, Clients and Job Orders.
  • Day Two covers the Payroll, Reports, and Maintenance.
  • Day Three covers the AP, AR, Banks and GL.
